Brian R. Bloom – Architect is a full service architectural firm founded in 1997. The firm was founded on 3 principles: customer service, responsiveness to our clients’ needs, and quality design. With 30+ years of experience in the architectural and construction fields, the team of highly qualified professionals welcomes repeat clients and client referrals, and encourages new clients to join our client network. Since its founding, the firm has produced exceptional solutions consistently, “on time”, and “on budget”. Each project, large or small, is treated with equal importance and the same personal service.
Successful completion of projects by the firms’ registered architects and design team allows us to continue to offer a variety of services to our clients. We have on-going working relationships with owners, engineers, contractors, and design professionals in our portfolio enabling us to tailor services to match the scale and complexity of any project. Projects vary in size from large-scale, multi-million-dollar endeavors, to small-scale private residence remodels. We specialize in design/build projects of all types and have worked with government agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. Special attention is given to construction costs by utilizing in-house cost estimating through every phase of the project. Budget constraints are carefully considered during the design phase to minimize problems during construction, while maximizing the client’s resources.
The firm is affiliated with the following national organizations: American Institute of Architects (AIA), International Code Council (formerly ICBO), US Green Building Council, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and is a Certified Small Business with the State of California.
Our firm puts high value on cutting edge technology, utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, 3D BIM, Photoshop, and 3DStudio Max. Our ability to produce photo-realistic computer renderings and models is aided by our investment in state-of-the-art computers.
We are committed to sustainable design and minimizing the impact on the environment by promoting integrated whole building design practices through design research and development. Our in-house LEED AP's and LEED Consultants strive to design environmentally progressive buildings that are aesthetically pleasing, durable, and energy efficient.
